About the role

As an Auxiliary Operator, you will collaborate with our facility control room to operate and inspect various power plant systems safely and efficiently, ensuring the operational effectiveness of Reworld's industrial disposal process.

Position Responsibilities:

1. Operate and inspect power plant systems according to safety procedures, including boilers, air pollution control systems, ash systems, and heavy industrial equipment.
2. Monitor and inspect auxiliary equipment like pumps, motors, fans, dampers, air compressors, valves, mixers, conveyors, turbines, generators, and electrical devices.
3. Interpret data from meters, gauges, and measuring tools to identify trends and potential disruptions.
4. Monitor air pollution control equipment.
5. Perform material sampling, chemistry testing, and water treatment as needed.
6. Operate heavy mobile industrial equipment such as cranes, skid steers, loaders, and forklifts safely.
7. Maintain correct refuse-fuel levels and ensure proper refuse mix in designated areas.
8. Perform additional duties to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Position Requirements & Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2-3 years' experience operating heavy industrial equipment.
• Ability to work rotating shifts.
