Job summary

Life Cycle Engineering in San Diego seeks a senior operations and maintenance expert for naval auxiliary systems to support the Organic Repair Capability Assessment (ORCA) Team and CNSP Readiness Assistance Training Team (RATT). U.S.

  • Minimum fifteen (15) years experience with operations and maintenance of auxiliary systems aboard a warship or military auxiliary.
  • Direct operational and maintenance experience, within the last five years, with auxiliary equipment and systems currently in use by the Navy to include diesel engines, gasoline internal combustion engines, potable water systems, compressed air/gas systems, air conditioning systems, fuel/lube oil systems, and ventilation systems.

Opportunity Summary

Security Clearance Requirements
  • U.S. citizenship
  • Active U.S. DoD security clearance (Security clearance eligibility may be considered on a case-by-case basis.)
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum fifteen (15) years experience with operations and maintenance of auxiliary systems aboard a warship or military auxiliary.

Physical Expectations
  • Regular physical activity to include walking, climbing stairs, and standing; frequent periods of prolonged sitting may be required.
  • Maneuvering around tight spaces in a confined environment.
  • Ability to speak, read, hear, and write, with or without assistance.
  • Ability to use phone and computer systems, copier, fax and other office equipment.
