Job summary

Anduril Industries in Sydney seeks a Mechanical Technician to advance subsea robotics and deliver our autonomous underwater vehicles. You will assemble complex electro-mechanical assemblies and integrate them into final products for service, within a multi-disciplinary team.

In this role you will fabricate tooling, contribute to DFMA discussions with engineering, and help scale the production system while maintaining high quality and delivery standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in technician roles in automotive, aircraft, maritime or similar.
• Proficiency interpreting mechanical drawings and work instructions.
• Fabrication skills including plastic/metal machining and additive manufacturing.
• Experience performing functional checkouts and tests.
• Risk assessment and hazard mitigation documentation experience.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong verbal and written communication.
• Commitment to a positive, inclusive and collaborative culture.
• Ability to obtain and maintain NV2 security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, and integrate complex mechanical assemblies into products.
• Fabricate manufacturing jigs, fixtures, and equipment to improve build efficiency.
• Provide input to processes, practices, and DFMA feedback to engineering.
• Interact with ERP systems for work order tracking, inventory, and quality reporting.
