Job summary
KPIT is seeking an AUTOSAR Technical Lead to drive software modernization and AUTOSAR migration for off-highway vehicle platforms. You will lead the transformation of legacy embedded software into modular AUTOSAR architectures across Brake, Steering, Transmission, HVAC, and ECUs.
You will collaborate with OEM architects, Functional Safety teams, and global engineering to define architecture strategies, migration frameworks, and next-generation software platforms.
Qualifications
- 10+ years in automotive embedded software development.
- Expertise with AUTOSAR Classic Platform and ARXML.
- Strong embedded C/C++ and MBDev experience.
- Proficient with MATLAB/Simulink and model-based workflows.
- Experience with MIL/SIL/HIL and ECU validation.
- Familiar with ISO 26262/ASPICE and safety workflows.
- Ability to lead multi-ECU integration and migration.
Responsibilities
- Lead software modernization and AUTOSAR migration across ECU domains.
- Define strategies to transform legacy software into modular architectures.
- Analyze monolithic code for decomposition, reuse, and standardization.
- Design architectures, configure AUTOSAR components, and support ARXML generation.
- Lead migration from non-AUTOSAR to AUTOSAR-based platforms with refactoring.
- Define quality gates and validation criteria across phases.
- Collaborate with OEM architects and safety teams for integration.
