Job summary

KPIT Technologies Ltd. seeks an experienced automotive software architect to lead the conversion of legacy systems to modular, reusable components. You will drive Autosar Classic configurations, ARXML generation, and model-based design using MATLAB/Simulink.

Responsibilities include decomposing monolithic codes, integrating AI-assisted refactoring, and coordinating with OEM architects and safety teams to ensure compliant software architecture across product families.

Qualifications

• Experience with Classic AUTOSAR architecture and configuration.
• Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink for Model-Based Design.
• Strong background in embedded C/C++ for legacy and modern systems.
• Knowledge of ARXML generation and interfaces with RTE/BSW.

Job description

• Define Strategies to convert Legacy to Modular Software
• Design best practices/guidelines to identify Re-usable/Modular/Scalable software components across different variantes/ product families
• Analyze Monolithic Models & Codes and decompse into modular & reusable software components
• Functional Software Architecture Design, AutoSar Configuration & ARXML generation
• Non AutoSar to AutoSar Migration [Models & Code]
• Work on Model & C code refactoring
• Use AI-assisted solutions for refactoring and autosar migration
• Create/Review architecture, refactored code, models, ARXML
• Interface with OEM architects and safety teams

Requirements:

• MATLAB/Simulink MBD
• AUTOSAR Classic (Application SWC, RTE, Application Integration with BSW)
• Software Architecture Design & Configuration using AutoSar tools
• Embedded C/C++ (legacy & modern)
• Virtual ECU configuration
• MIL / SIL / Virtual Validation / HIL validation lifecycle
• Supports ASW integration with BSW
• AI-based code/model analysis using (Multi-Agent/Agentic AI)
• Defining human-in-the-loop AI workflows
• Validation strategies for AI-generated outputs
• Understanding of multi-agent automation concepts
• MATLAB/Simulink, dSPACE/Vector, AUTOSAR authoring tools, Git, CI/CD, AI orchestration platforms
