- Develop advanced control algorithms using Model-Based Development (MATLAB/Simulink) and C language.
- Perform system engineering activities including requirement elicitation, analysis, development, and reviews.
- Coordinate with clients and offshore teams to deliver engineering work products within agreed timelines.
- Gather requirements for vehicle functions across conventional and electric vehicle platforms.
- Develop torque and speed control systems for conventional and electric vehicles.
- Review and approve system engineering work artifacts.
- Perform Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA).
- Conduct functional safety analysis for safety-critical control systems.
- Develop and manage requirements in accordance with client processes.
- Review Simulink models and C code for various vehicle functions.
- Participate in cross‑functional reviews for release and approval of work products.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve field and product issues.
- Work in Agile development environments including PI planning and daily standups.
- Investigate field truck issues and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Present engineering solutions to product management teams.
- Ensure end‑to‑end requirement traceability using JIRA, Polarion, GitLab, and related tools.
- Manage system engineering work products in Polarion.
- Perform vehicle data analysis to improve functionality and resolve integration issues.
- Develop and execute test cases on HiL platforms and resolve hardware‑related issues.
- Conduct in‑vehicle testing for powertrain‑related features.
- Review and approve HiL DVP&R documents.
Requirements:
- Strong expertise in MATLAB/Simulink and Model-Based Development (MBD).
- Proficiency in C/c++ programming and Python.
- Knowledge of torque and speed control systems.
- Experience with conventional and electric vehicle powertrain systems.
- Strong understanding of system engineering and requirement management processes.
- Experience with Functional Safety concepts (ISO 26262 preferred).
- Hands‑on experience performing DFMEA.
- Experience developing and reviewing Simulink models and embedded C code.
- Knowledge of Hardware‑in‑the‑Loop (HiL) testing and validation.
- Experience with vehicle data analysis and diagnostics.
- Familiarity with JIRA, Polarion, GitLab, and requirement traceability tools.
- Experience in vehicle integration, validation, and field issue resolution.
- Strong root cause analysis and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience working with cross‑functional and global teams.
- Strong client‑facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Knowledge of powertrain systems and in‑vehicle testing methodologies.
