Job summary

Citi’s Equity Research team in Getzville, NY is seeking a Senior Associate to support the Autos sector lead analyst. You will help shape research publications, financial models, and client engagement for institutional clients globally.

You will work at the intersection of deep sector analysis, AI-driven research methods, and direct client impact within a globally connected team, mentoring juniors and ensuring rigorous, compliant outputs.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in sell-side equity research or related investment research
• Strong ability to build and maintain complex financial models with accounting/valuation skills
• Experience supporting senior analysts and preparing client-facing research materials
• Excellent written and verbal communication, translating analysis into narratives

Responsibilities

• Build and update detailed financial models for Autos sector companies
• Draft and co-author equity research publications for institutional clients
• Respond to inquiries from clients with informed perspectives on sector developments
• Coordinate investor events and ensure strong client experience
• Apply AI tools to enhance research workflows and outputs
• Mentor junior team members and support a high-performing environment
• Evaluate business and investment decisions while maintaining research integrity and regulatory standards
