Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant science field is required.
• Must be a graduate of a NAACLS-accredited pathologists’ assistant training program.
• Current certification as Certified Pathologists’ Assistant through the ASCP is needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, gross describe, and dissect human tissue surgical specimens.
• Perform human postmortem examinations.
• Obtain clinical histories and describe gross features of surgical specimens.
