Job summary

Rocket Money’s Autopilot team is seeking an engineer to help steer the future of our banking and investment systems. You will build user interfaces with React and back-ends with Node and GraphQL, while collaborating with cross-functional partners to translate business needs into technical solutions.

You will own the full lifecycle of Autopilot technology, from initial planning and development through production maintenance and optimization, with a focus on scalable, sustainable delivery.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience with Node, JavaScript, React/React Native, GraphQL, and PostgreSQL or similar relational DB.

Responsibilities

• Make key decisions for the future of our banking and investment systems that balance technical concerns with business concerns.
• Build user interfaces using React and back-ends in Node & GraphQL.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business needs and communicate technical tradeoffs clearly as requirements evolve.
• Architect scalable solutions that may differ from initial requests but better serve business objectives and long-term technical sustainability.
• Own the full lifecycle of Autopilot technology, from planning and development to production maintenance and optimization.
