Job summary

Rivian is seeking an Autonomy TPM to lead cross-functional programs at the intersection of hardware, software, and AI/ML. You will drive initiatives across perception, planning, systems, and data pipelines, shaping how autonomous systems are developed and deployed.

You will own program execution, manage tradeoffs, and mentor other TPMs to advance ML-centric initiatives while collaborating with partner organizations and leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience in Technical Program Management on deep tech products involving AI/ML and data pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with ML-based products including evaluation with metrics-driven analysis.
• Strong interpersonal skills for external partner collaboration on data sharing, model deployment, platform integration.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Data Science, Engineering, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead programs intersecting hardware, software, and regulatory constraints.
• Own programs; drive progress and brief SVP on progress and risks.
• Make tradeoffs to hit timelines; consider ML data, annotation pipelines, compute resources.
• Manage ambiguity by presenting options with clear POV for leadership.
• Define TPM role as influencer; drive accountability through soft power.
• Mentor other TPMs in ML-centric technical programs.
