Job summary

May Mobility, based in Ann Arbor, is hiring a Product Cybersecurity Engineer to embed security across the product lifecycle—from architecture to deployment. You will work with hardware, software, and product teams to manage vulnerabilities in autonomous systems and support automotive cybersecurity standards.

The role emphasizes threat modeling, secure requirements, SBOM/HBOM maintenance, and risk-based patching, with opportunities to influence safety analyses and internal audits.

Qualifications

• Threat modeling and attack surface analysis experience.
• Experience generating and managing SBOMs with industry tooling (SPDX, CycloneDX).
• Familiarity with vehicle networks (CAN, LIN, Ethernet) and embedded systems security.
• Knowledge of UNECE WP.29, ISO/SAE 21434, UL 4600 security standards.

Responsibilities

• Integrate security practices into product development workflows from requirements through release.
• Provide input on hardware, firmware, and software design decisions; consider supply chain risk.
• Define and validate security requirements for hardware and software; enforce secure coding practices.
