Job summary

Havoc is seeking a Vehicle Autonomy Integration Engineer to bring HavocAI autonomy onto real vehicles and robotic platforms. You’ll work across vehicle controls, autopilots, sensors, and embedded compute to ensure reliable field performance.

Join a hands-on, hybrid role with opportunities from early-career engineers to senior technical leaders. Expect close collaboration with hardware, software, and field operations teams in Rhode Island.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent hands-on experience in relevant engineering fields.
• Experience integrating software with real hardware such as robotic platforms or vehicles.
• Programming in C++, Python, Bash or similar languages; Linux troubleshooting experience.
• Knowledge of hardware or network interfaces such as CAN, serial, Ethernet or MQTT.

Responsibilities

• Platform integration of HavocAI software onto robotic platforms and assets.
• Work with autopilots, vehicle controls, sensors, and embedded compute.
• Validate field performance through bench tests, dockside and sea trials.
• Diagnose issues across software, hardware, networking and controls.
• Develop repeatable integration procedures and documentation.
