Applied Intuition is seeking an Autonomy Integration Software Engineer in Ann Arbor to develop, deploy, and maintain the backbone of autonomous capabilities across vehicles. The role blends field work with office development, integrating sensors, autopilots, and inter‑vehicle communications.

The ideal candidate has an advanced degree or 5+ years in multi‑agent autonomy, strong Linux skills, and proficiency in Python/C++. Prior CI/CD experience and familiarity with PX4/ROS are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Linux and command‑line tools.
• Proficiency in Python and/or C++ (most work in C++).
• Hands‑on experience with robotic systems, sensors, and vehicle autopilots (e.g., PX4, ROS).

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and maintain autonomy software on vehicles and simulation interfaces.
• Collaborate with sensors, perception, and autonomy teams to optimize perception pipelines and vehicle autonomy software.
• Implement CI/CD processes and improve system reliability and performance.
• Conduct field deployments and testing on autonomous vehicles in real environments.
