Job summary

Gatik is seeking a manufacturing engineer to lead the integration of autonomy hardware into trucks and to troubleshoot on-site build issues while driving QA initiatives for high reliability and production efficiency.

You will collaborate with design, integration, and production teams, as well as external manufacturing partners, to ensure build consistency, traceability, and continuous improvement across the manufacturing line.

Qualifications

• Experience with electromechanical systems and vehicle hardware integration.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Knowledge of QA and root-cause analysis processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end manufacturing for autonomy hardware integration into trucks.
• Develop assembly procedures, inspection checklists, and documentation.
• Collaborate with design, integration, and production teams to resolve build issues.
• Define QA processes including inspection plans and defect tracking.
• Drive continuous improvement for reliability and throughput.
• Coordinate with contract manufacturers and verify materials against specs.
