Job summary

AUMOVIO, a leading tech company focused on autonomous mobility, is hiring a Aurora Test Engineer to design, develop, and maintain system-level test strategies for the Aurora manufacturing process in New Braunfels, Texas.

The role involves coding test software, building loadboxes and fixtures, and collaborating on product and process improvements to boost quality and efficiency. Applicants must have a degree in engineering and relevant testing experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• General knowledge of testing processes within electronics.
• Basic programming knowledge and exposure to C and C#.
• Understanding of measurement systems.
• Understanding of both digital and analog circuits.
• Ability to perform root-cause analysis and problem solve.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and planning skills.
• Basic knowledge of Ethernet, CAN, UDP, TCP/IP.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required; sponsorship not offered.
• Relocation assistance is not offered.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, and debug test software to meet parametric measurement, functional test, & throughput requirements.
• Design, develop, integrate, and debug loadboxes, fixtures, cables, and test bays to meet product test requirements.
• Participate on product and/or process problem-solving teams.
• Support and facilitate process, procedure, and cultural change targeted at improving quality and productivity.
• Monitor and improve both internal and external product quality.
• Monitor, maintain, and improve test system yield and test time performance.
• Schedule, manage, and communicate multiple project activities between multiple project team members to assure on-time completion.
