Job summary

42dot, a mobility AI company and Hyundai Motor Group’s Global Software Center, is building an autonomous driving org to deliver production-ready L4 autonomy across trucks, buses, and passenger vehicles. You will help create evaluation systems, KPI strategies, and validation frameworks while working hands-on in software, data analysis, and simulations.

As a founding member of the autonomy team, you’ll influence engineering priorities, product decisions, and the technical roadmap, collaborating

Qualifications

• Demonstrated grit, ownership, and problem-solving ability.
• Strong programming in Python and/or C++.
• Experience working with large datasets and software systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop autonomy KPIs and performance metrics.
• Build evaluation and validation tools for autonomous driving systems.
• Analyze driving performance and identify failure modes.
• Develop scenario mining and performance analysis workflows.
• Support simulation-based testing and validation.
• Collaborate with ML, software, systems, and safety teams.
• Contribute to technical discussions and engineering decisions.
