Job summary

Jobtailor in United States, Illinois, is seeking a Software Engineer to lead the design, implementation, testing, and release of software for autonomous systems on heavy machinery. You will work with the machine product group to integrate systems and troubleshoot integration issues.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science, plus proven C++ development experience and the ability to create system-level requirements for engineering projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
• Proven Experience as a Software Engineer in C++ Development for product design and development.
• Proven Experience in creating system level requirements for engineering product development projects.
• Experience in Construction or Mining industry; preferred experience with Robotics, Autonomy, or Automation.
• Knowledge and experience with Wheel Loaders, Excavators, Hydraulic Mining Shovels or Tracked Loaders preferred.
• Experience with CAT Products and tools preferred.
