Vehicle Operations Specialist – Autonomous Vehicle Testing & Data Collection
Location: San Francisco, CA
Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per Hour (decided after Driving Interview)
Schedule: Full‑Time

What You’ll Do
- Safely operate company vehicles during testing and data collection activities
- Drive up to 6 hours per shift in urban and highway environments
- Monitor vehicle software systems while maintaining safe driving practices
- Execute structured test scenarios including construction zones, roundabouts, heavy pedestrian traffic, and complex roadway conditions
- Collect operational data and document vehicle performance
- Identify, document, and report unusual vehicle behaviors and edge‑case scenarios
- Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections
- Ensure cameras, LiDAR, radar systems, and sensors remain clean and operational
- Assist with troubleshooting software and hardware issues
- Collaborate closely with Software Engineers, Hardware Engineers, and Operations Teams
- Create clear written reports and provide verbal feedback regarding system performance
What We’re Looking For
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License held continuously for at least 5 years
- Excellent driving record with no major violations
- Strong defensive driving skills and situational awareness
- Ability to remain focused and attentive for extended periods
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working with technology and software systems
- Basic troubleshooting skills and willingness to learn new technologies
- Detail‑oriented, dependable, and highly reliable
- Ability to follow structured testing procedures and operational guidelines
Preferred Experience
- Autonomous vehicle operations
- Vehicle testing or data collection
- Rideshare, delivery, transportation, fleet operations, or commercial driving
- Technical support, quality assurance, field operations, or engineering support
- Experience using Google Workspace, Notion, or other software tools
- Experience documenting processes, incidents, or testing activities
- Passionate about autonomous vehicles, robotics, and emerging technology
- Comfortable learning new software and testing processes
- Adaptable in rapidly changing environments
- Strong communicators who can work closely with engineering teams

AM Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday – Friday
PM Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM, Monday – Friday

Week 1: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday – Friday
