Job summary

Magna is seeking a System Test Engineer in Lowell, MA to perform root cause analysis and contribute to system monitoring frameworks for autonomous vehicle platforms. The successful candidate will verify and validate production releases of fleet management and autonomy software, craft test cases in TestRail, and help set up testing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in aerospace or mechanical or mechanical engineering.
• 24 months of related experience as an Engineer, System Test Engineer or Triage Engineer.
• Experience with root cause analysis and autonomous vehicle testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform root cause analysis of system behaviors and monitor faults across autonomous vehicle platforms.
• Create Python automation tools to process logs and streamline issue tracking; use JIRA for tickets.
• Verify and validate autonomous mobile robot software, configure test environments, and develop test cases in TestRail.
