Job summary

AutoNation Inc. seeks an Advanced Autonomous Vehicle (AV) Technician to diagnose, repair, calibrate, and integrate AV systems across our fleet.

You will tackle high‑voltage, sensor, compute, CAN/LIN networks, and perform tests in shop and field settings, collaborating with engineering and operations teams. Ideal candidates have 3–5+ years in automotive/EV/robotics/AV tech, strong diagnostic skills, and experience with LiDAR, radar, cameras, and vehicle networks.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years in automotive, EV, robotics, or AV technician roles.
• Strong diagnostic experience with mechanical and electrical vehicle systems.
• Hands-on experience with LiDAR, radar, cameras, and compute hardware.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex diagnostics, repairs, calibrations, and system integrations on AV platforms.
• Analyze CAN/LIN networks and power distribution; troubleshoot hardware and firmware issues.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to resolve escalated field problems.
