Job summary

TruckingPeople in San Francisco, CA seeks a Level 3 Vehicle Operator to safely operate and monitor autonomous test vehicles across 4–8 hour shifts. This in-person, full-time contract role offers day and night schedules with potential for long-term assignment and premium weekend/night pay.

You will document observations, assist with vehicle readiness checks, and collaborate with engineering teams to improve operations while maintaining clean, organized workspaces.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and monitor vehicles for 4–8 hours per shift.
• Support vehicle testing and daily operations.
• Perform basic software and technology-related tasks.
• Document observations and provide detailed feedback to engineering teams.
• Conduct vehicle readiness inspections and preventative maintenance checks.
• Assist with vehicle logistics, storage, and transportation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of vehicles and workspaces.
• Complete operational reports and documentation accurately.
