Job description

Royalty Staffing is seeking Vehicle Operators who will maintain vehicle readiness, perform hardware/software tests, and provide excellent customer service during public interactions.

In this role, you will contribute to advancing the company's autonomous vehicle technology with a focus on safety and data collection.

Location: Mountain View, CA

Work environment: Onsite/field

Pay rate: $32.00 USD per hour

Assignment duration: 12 months

Schedule: AM Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM; PM Shift: 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting vehicle operations and driving 4-8 hours daily
• Performing basic software operations to support mission requirements
• Ensuring vehicle roadworthiness and cleanliness
• Assisting with logistical support for vehicle maintenance, movement, and storage
• Providing feedback to the engineering team

Minimum qualifications:

• At least 2 years of Autonomous Vehicle Operations (AVO) experience and 3+ years of driving history
• Previous experience with ADAS/autonomous vehicle testing
• Ability to drive for extended periods
• No recent moving violations, DUI, or criminal record
• Some experience with Linux Command Line
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Experience operating larger vehicles such as Suburban, Tahoe, or large SUVs
