Base pay range

$80,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr

Akkodis is seeking an Autonomous Vehicle Test / Integration Engineer on our dedicated engineering team near Santa Clara, CA. This role specifically requires 1 year of professional experience autonomous in-vehicle testing along with a bachelors degree OR 2+ years without a higher education.

Candidate will troubleshoot and find root cause issues in vehicle sensors, warning lights, cameras, computing unit issues, and application errors while analyzing on how to resolve the issues, though the responsibility stops when it goes into the software side and respective engineering teams. Will upload software packages to the vehicles within a Linux environment. No programming of software is required.

Pay Range: $80,000 to $120,000/yr (salary commensurate based on experience, education, geographic locations, and other factors).

Autonomous Vehicle Test Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Debug, maintain and integrate software packages into vehicle platforms
• Vehicles support
• Level 1 Hotline triage
• VIP updates and bring-up support
• Documenting issues in Jira and Confluence
• Fleet operations support
• Ad hoc support of various requests from development teams

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Requires 1 year of professional experience autonomous in-vehicle testing along with a bachelors degree OR 2+ years without a higher education.
• Ability to effectively prioritize with strong time management skills in a fast-paced environment
• Superior verbal and written communication skills
• Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
• High level of professionalism and strong sense of urgency
• Ability to work with minimal guidance; Proactive, motivated self-starter.
• Flexibility and ability to handle and manage change effectively and efficiently.
