Job summary

Kodiak Robotics, Inc. is seeking a Vehicle Integration Technician to join our Engineering team in Texas.

You will build, maintain, and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software systems on our autonomous vehicle fleet, collaborating with engineers to improve builds and fleet uptime. Applicants bring strong hands-on diagnostic and repair experience across mechanical and electrical systems, plus experience with prototype or first-article builds and the ability to read schematics and wiring

Qualifications

Hands-on troubleshooting across mechanical and electrical systems.
Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams and harness diagrams.
Experience with prototype or first-article builds, and operating test equipment.
Strong documentation skills to clearly communicate findings and instructions.

Responsibilities

Build, maintain, and upfit first article builds of autonomous technology as part of the Engineering team.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and perform root-cause analysis across mechanical, electrical, and software systems.
Maintain, repair, and upfit systems to improve fleet uptime.
Perform testing on mechanical and electrical components and assemblies.
Generate and review work instructions and feedback for the engineering team.
Inspect hardware quality and report issues for resolution.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace.
Occasional travel to fleet/partner sites as needed.
