Job summary

Ami Arroyo, Inc. is seeking an Autonomous Vehicle Test & Service Technician in East Liberty, Ohio. This hands-on, in-person role keeps a fleet of autonomous vehicles ready for testing, demonstrations, and road use, through diagnostics, maintenance, repairs, and coordination with engineering teams.

The position requires 2–4+ years of vehicle maintenance experience, a clean driving record, and ability to manage multiple tasks while ensuring safety and quality in a fast-paced workshop.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4+ years of technician experience in vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Experience with vehicle service methods, parts, tools, and materials.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented, reliable, and self-directed work style.
• Ability to pass background and drug screenings; lift up to 50 lbs; sit/stand long hours.
• Experience operating or learning shop equipment including forklift/gantry systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs, inspections, and maintenance per work instructions and document findings.
• Execute scheduled maintenance to support fleet readiness.
• Conduct multi-point inspections and system checks, improving safety and reliability.
• Inspect and test completed work as a quality control measure.
• Configure and sign off on vehicles for safe on-road usage.
• Support demos and testing readiness by coordinating with shop leadership.
• Diagnose issues and escalate to engineering when required.
• Coordinate repair process from diagnosis to completion.
• Create and support diagnostic test plans as needed.
• Maintain service records and quality field reports.
• Assist with parts inventory, storage, and workshop organization.
• Help maintain shop facilities and equipment in a safe, productive state.
