Job summary

International Motors, LLC in Elmendorf, TX (near San Antonio) seeks an Autonomous Vehicle Data Analyst Engineer to support development and validation of next‑generation AV systems. Join the AV On‑Road Long Term Test group to advance Level 3/4 autonomy through real‑world testing.

Collaborate with an engineering team and AV safety driver; flexible day/night shifts with travel up to 50% to IPG locations. Bachelor’s in Engineering/Technology/CS required; strong data analysis and MS Office skills

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science.
Experience with powertrain calibration or data acquisition on mobile platforms in automotive/truck industry is a plus.
Strong data analysis and ability to manage large data files and datasets.
Excellent communication skills with safety drivers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Own the test article and ensure road readiness and data acquisition equipment for over-the-road testing, rotating to 2nd shift testing.
Inform the safety driver of the ADS behavior, communicate, and participate in daily testing, intervening when unsafe operations are detected.
Document, tag, upload and process the data and analyze driving events with the AV development team.
Troubleshoot when the AV is not in Active Automated mode and at Standstill; attend on-site training as needed.
