Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in a technical, engineering, or operations discipline or equivalent experience.

• Able to monitor proprietary software tools supporting AV operations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Valid U.S. driver's license with 5+ years driving and clean MVR.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve trigger requests from autonomous vehicles promptly.
• Monitor vehicle operating conditions such as weather and traffic patterns.
• Safely send remote commands to vehicles for on-road and test environments.
• Log real-time feedback on autonomy and platform performance for engineers.
• Triage and review remote assist workflows tied to performance metrics and compliance.
• Escalate blockers with suggested solutions.
• Contribute to cross-functional projects to demonstrate impact.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of how our self-driving tech works and daily changes.
• Work toward quantitative and qualitative goals for Autonomous Operations and Aurora.
• Interact with the public as an Aurora ambassador.
• Serve as the initial contact for system analysis and basic vehicle issues.
• Operate the LM Remote Troubleshooter for diagnostics and configuration checks.
• Generate essential diagnostic reports and document communications in Slack.
• Execute documented workarounds for common checklist failures.
• Follow procedures to escalate complex issues to Vehicle Reliability Engineering with documentation.
