Qualifications

• Current certification as a Physician Assistant.
• Active state licensure and eligibility to practice as an APP.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and decision-making skills.
• A patient-centered approach and interest in developing long-term therapeutic relationships.
• Ability to work independently while recognizing when physician consultation is appropriate.
• Urology experience preferred but not required.
• Willingness to learn and develop expertise in evaluation and management of urologic conditions.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own outpatient clinic with a high degree of clinical independence while collaborating with and receiving guidance from five general urologists.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with urologic conditions including BPH, kidney stones, UTIs, incontinence, erectile dysfunction, and overactive bladder.
• Build meaningful, long-term relationships with patients and their families.
• Perform in-office procedures with training and mentorship to expand procedural skills.
• Coordinate care with supervising or collaborating physicians as needed.
• Participate in cutting edge clinical research studies.
