Job summary

Doodle Labs is seeking a Solutions Engineer to support customer deployment success across unmanned systems and wireless networking integrations. You will work with robotics engineers, field operators, firmware engineers, and customer teams to validate, troubleshoot, and optimize radios in real-world autonomous platforms.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with wireless communications, RF networking, embedded systems, or robotic platform integration.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and troubleshooting.
• Comfortable working in Linux environments and administering embedded or networking systems.
• Experience building software utilities, scripts, or automation tools to support technical workflows.

Responsibilities

• Become a technical expert in Doodle Labs radios, firmware, configuration tools, and deployment architectures.
• Support customer integrations, platform testing, field evaluations, and troubleshooting efforts.
• Test newly developed hardware and software against customer use cases including drones and unmanned systems.
• Develop repeatable validation workflows for firmware updates, new features, and deployment scenarios.
• Analyze wireless link performance, networking behavior, throughput, interference, mobility, and routing in real-world conditions.
• Create and maintain software utilities and troubleshooting tools for customer configurations.
• Recreate customer deployment conditions in lab environments to validate configurations and replicate issues.
• Maintain and improve customer-facing technical docs and datasheets.
• Collaborate with engineering and firmware teams to provide structured product feedback.
• Deliver technical reports summarizing findings, risks, and deployment recommendations.
• Become a trusted technical advisor for high-value customers during deployments.
