Job summary

Cydecor, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer (Autonomous Systems) to develop and integrate software for unmanned systems. The role covers autonomous navigation, mission planning, communications, and ground control applications, in an Agile team effort.

You will work on GPS/IMU/LiDAR data integration, QT/QML interfaces, and MAVLink/TCP/IP networking. The ideal candidate has strong C/C++ skills, experience with autonomous navigation, and familiarity with BetaFlight, ArduPilot, and PX4 platforms.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of three years of hands-on professional software development with degree, or seven years without a degree.
• Proficiency in C, C++, and object-oriented software development.
• Experience with Agile software development.
• Experience with autonomous navigation and path-planning techniques.
• Experience with BetaFlight, ArduPilot, and PX4 flight control software.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software for autonomous unmanned systems.
• Develop software using C, C++, and OO methodologies.
• Participate in Agile sprint planning, development, testing, and integration.
• Develop navigation and path-planning capabilities (waypoints, geofencing, routing, obstacle avoidance).
• Integrate software with flight control platforms (BetaFlight, ArduPilot, PX4).
• Develop ground control and mission planning software for execution and monitoring.
