Job summary

Integer Technologies is an applied research and product development company focused on next‑generation maritime systems. We seek an Autonomous Systems Engineer for submersible platforms to develop sensor data fusion and edge‑deployed models that enable real‑time autonomous decisions.

You will work on data intelligence research programs, contribute to a decision support framework, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to advance mission‑driven autonomy for unmanned vessels.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 6+ years relevant experience or Master’s with 4+ years.
• Experience with data from perception sensors (sonar, magnetic, cameras, lidar) to enhance robotic perception.
• Background in mathematics and robotic algorithms (linear algebra, trig, Bayesian stats, Kalman filters).
• Experience with Python, C++, MATLAB and general scientific software development.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an Autonomous Systems Engineer for submersible systems with emphasis on sensor data fusion.
• Identify and develop methods for edge processing of sensor data on autonomous platforms.
• Contribute to industry-academia research projects on intelligent operation of maritime systems.
• Assist in developing autonomous strategies balancing speed, cost, and value.
• Engage with partners and customers to understand needs and elicit requirements.
• Collaborate with software and business teams to create new products using simulations.
