Required are a Master’s degree in speech-language pathology, licensure in the state or eligibility, and ASHA CCC within 2 years of hire, plus BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in speech-language pathology is required.
• Current state license as a speech-language pathologist or eligibility for licensure by examination, or state reciprocity.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.
• Certification of Clinical Competence from ASHA required within 2 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs evaluations and provides treatment programs to facilitate patient-specific goals.
• Assesses patient response to treatment and recommends changes to the plan as appropriate.
• Maintains patient records according to documentation standards, policies, and procedures.
• Meets established productivity levels related to access to care, patient experience, and quality.
• Assists in program development and enhancement to meet patient and community needs.
• Adapts communication and interaction style to each patient, respecting privacy and consent.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
