Job summary
Capistrano Senior Living and San Juan Hills in San Juan Capistrano, CA, is hiring a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time role. The SLP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders across two collaborative rehabilitation teams in Skilled Nursing and Senior Living settings.
The role requires CA licensure, CCC-SLP where applicable, and a commitment to clinical autonomy.
Qualifications
- Current, active, and unrestricted Speech Language Pathologist license in the State of California.
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- CCC-SLP certification from ASHA if mandated by facility or payer guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language and swallowing evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care with measurable goals.
- Provide skilled interventions addressing communication and swallowing safety.
- Lead discharge planning and support safe transitions of care.
