Job summary

Aceolution Inc. seeks a Safety and Compliance Officer to drive safety culture across autonomous driving validation operations. You will establish robust policies, governance, and training to ensure DOT and partner standards are met, while aligning with industry best practices.

You will lead cross-functional teams, conduct audits, analyze safety data, and advise senior management on regulatory changes to maintain safety and a competitive edge.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in transportation safety management or a similar role.
• Bachelor in engineering/technology (mechanical preferred).
• Deep understanding of safety regulations, standards, and best practices for autonomous transport.
• CSP or equivalent safety certification, Sword of Honor exposure preferred.
• Internal Auditor / ISO 9001 QMS and ISO 14001 EHS experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, capable of simplifying complex concepts.
• Strong leadership with track record of managing cross-site interactions.
• Right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Establishing a strategy and protocols to ensure compliance with DOT, Non-DOT regulatory and partner safety and compliance standards and mitigate operational risks.
• Evaluate current processes, identify risks and opportunities for transformation into best in class.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to establish and maintain QMS, ISO, EHS quality assurance processes, including audits, inspections, and assessments.
• Define processes, make them measurable and establish qualitative and quantitative outcomes.
• Serve as a safety advocate, driving training and communication to foster safety culture and accountability.
• Analyze safety data and metrics to identify trends and develop improvement strategies.
• Monitor emerging trends/regulations and provide strategic guidance to leadership.
• Liaise with regulators and industry bodies to influence policy and standards.
• Develop and oversee a comprehensive safety governance framework for operations.
• Engage and lead the safety governance forums.
