Job summary

Third Wave Automation is seeking a Technical Product Manager to drive the tactical execution of our core robotic vehicle platforms. You will sit at the intersection of hardware and software, shepherding requirements through engineering and field trials.

You will lead the backlog, coordinate with engineering, and translate field signals into actionable tickets to scale autonomous warehouse solutions while maintaining focus on market needs and long-term targets.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in technical product management, specifically in robotics, autonomous vehicles, or complex hardware-software products.
• Strong background in managing complex technical trade-offs with engineering teams.
• Excellent backlog grooming and execution skills to translate strategy into action.
• Able to pivot quickly when engineering findings require changes in requirements.
• Strong ability to translate field signals and customer feedback into prioritized technical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Act as the product shepherd for living requirements across core truck morphologies and platform development.
• Manage the engineering backlog to ensure high-velocity, roadmap-aligned execution.
• Lead field trials, turning early adopter signals into actionable engineering tickets.
• Oversee deployed fleet uptime and use field feedback for new feature development.
