Job summary

Renu Robotics is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, commission, maintain, and repair autonomous robotic equipment at customer sites across the United States. The role requires hands-on mechanical and electrical aptitude, travel, and strong problem-solving skills.

You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, document activities, and ensure safety compliance while collaborating with Mission Control and Engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Technical degree, certification, or equivalent experience in electrical, mechanical, automotive, industrial maintenance, robotics, or related field.
• Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to utilize computers, mobile devices, software applications, and troubleshooting tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission autonomous robotic equipment at customer sites, ensuring proper configuration and operation.
• Perform regular inspections, maintenance, and troubleshoot issues to ensure reliability.
• Provide technical support and build positive relationships with customers.
• Maintain detailed records of installations, maintenance, and repairs with reports, photos or videos.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance when working around electrical systems and batteries.
• Provide training to customers and company personnel on operation, setup, and basic troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with Mission Control, Engineering and Operations on performance and field issues.
