Job summary

TRUCKING PEOPLE in Austin is seeking an Experienced Rideshare Driver Autonomous Tester to join an on-demand autonomous ride-hailing initiative. The role pays $25.00 per hour for a 40-hour week and focuses on safety, vehicle readiness, and testing software and hardware while representing the brand to the public.

You will collaborate across teams—computer vision, infrastructure, strategy, vehicle engineering, and ride operations—driving 4–8 hours daily with a strong emphasis on safety and clear

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical experience is a plus.
• Valid US driver’s license with at least 3+ years of driving experience and a clean driving record.
• Current residency in the USA and eligibility to work in the USA.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and maintain vehicle readiness.
• Complete software and hardware tests.
• Drive 4–8 hours per day with a priority on safety.
• Assist with documentation and metrics; provide accurate written and oral feedback to engineering teams.
• Support vehicle maintenance, logistics, and paperwork related to vehicle readiness.
• Represent the company and its brand as an ambassador to the public.
