Job summary

Qualifications

• Unrestricted PMHNP license is required.
• Experience with geriatric populations and post-acute settings preferred.
• Strong documentation practices and CMS guideline familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Optimize quality of life for residents in skilled nursing, assisted living and long-term care settings with an interdisciplinary team.
• Assess, diagnose, treat and medically manage mood and anxiety disorders and related conditions.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation.
• Educate facility staff regarding psychiatric care and patient needs.
• Ensure compliance with CMS guidelines and facility policies.
