Job summary

Ochsner Health is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to autonomously deliver PT treatment, evaluate patients, and develop plans to meet goals. You will document progress and adapt plans based on patient response to ensure quality care.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients, creating treatment programs, maintaining records, and supporting program development and access to care. A state license or eligibility by examination is required, with BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in physical therapy is required.
• Current physical therapy license in the state of practice or eligibility by examination or reciprocity.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Performs evaluations and provides treatment programs to facilitate patient specific goals.
• Assesses patient response and recommends plan changes.
• Maintains patient records according to standards and procedures.
• Meets productivity targets related to access to care and patient experience.
• Assists in program development and enhancement to meet patient and community needs.
• Adapts approach to diverse patient populations while maintaining privacy and communication standards.
