Qualifications

• Eligibility for licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in Alaska.
• Must meet minimum licensure requirements and be eligible for licensure in Alaska.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergent, urgent and chronic care to inmates in a correctional setting.
• Act as liaison between the facility, local physicians and hospitals.
• Prescribe Schedule II-V drugs in accordance with Alaska licensing boards.
• Work with nursing staff and other providers to coordinate inmate care.
