Job summary

The Sioux Falls VA Health Care System is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide direct patient care within Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. You will independently develop and implement PT treatment plans to maximize veterans’ functional abilities, with the possibility of referring to supervisees where appropriate.

Applicants must meet CAPTE accreditation and hold or be eligible for licensure in a U.S.

Qualifications

• CAPTE-accredited PT program completion.
• Active state license to practice physical therapy.
• Eligibility to practice under VA qualification standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment and treatment interventions for patients.
• Develop and implement individualized PT treatment programs.
• Modify treatment plans based on patient response and progress.
• Oversee PT assistants and students where applicable.
