Job summary

Zohorecruit is assisting a growing health system in Fredericksburg, VA to hire a Physical Therapist for its outpatient orthopedic team. This role focuses on musculoskeletal and neuromuscular care with autonomy to develop individualized treatment plans within a team of experienced clinicians.

You will treat diverse conditions, educate patients and families, document thoroughly, and participate in ongoing professional development to uphold clinical excellence and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current PT license or ability to obtain appropriate state licensure.
• CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions.
• Develop and modify individualized plans of care based on patient goals and clinical findings.
• Utilize evidence-based treatment techniques to improve mobility, function, and strength.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, recovery expectations, and home exercise programs.
• Collaborate with clinical leadership and other clinicians to maximize patient outcomes.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.
• Build strong relationships with patients throughout their course of treatment.
• Participate in clinical mentorship, team meetings, and professional development.
