Job summary

MedNOW Clinics in Denver, CO is seeking a compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide high-quality outpatient care with clinical autonomy and collaborative teamwork.

This role requires current Colorado license and board certification, outpatient assessment skills, documentation, and ability to manage patient panels while coordinating with physicians and support staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Current national board certification appropriate to the applicant’s professional role and population focus.
• Current, unrestricted Colorado NP/APN or PA license, or eligibility to obtain before starting.
• Current NPI and ability to complete credentialing requirements.
• Prescriptive authority or eligibility to obtain it before prescribing.
• Active DEA registration when required for prescribing responsibilities.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Strong outpatient assessment, diagnostic, treatment-planning, and follow-up skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients during visits.
• Order, review, and follow up on labs and imaging.
• Prescribe medications within license and privileges.
• Provide patient education and shared decision-making.
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient lists.
• Coordinate with clinicians and staff for care continuity.
• Participate in quality improvement and ongoing professional development.
