Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school.
• Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Specialty Certificate from an accredited program.
• Active state dental license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Active DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Strong commitment to clinical excellence and patient-centered care.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with referring dentists, specialists and clinical teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures, including extractions, implant placement and other surgical treatments within your scope of practice.
• Diagnose and treat oral and facial conditions requiring surgical intervention.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient’s clinical needs, goals and overall health.
• Practice at the top of your specialty with full clinical autonomy and access to resources and support.
• Build strong relationships with patients and referring dentists through clear communication and exceptional care.
• Educate patients and families about procedures, risks, benefits and post-operative care.
• Collaborate with general dentists, specialists and clinical teams to support comprehensive patient care.
• Lead and support your clinical team to create a safe, efficient and patient-centered surgical environment.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow all applicable clinical, safety and compliance standards.
