Job summary

InnovaCare Health in Florida seeks an NP/PA to provide patient-centered care under a physician-led model, handling appointments, exams, diagnostic testing, and care coordination. This role emphasizes direct patient care in a value-based setting across adult medicine.

Must hold an active Florida NP/PA license with board certification, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to HIPAA-compliant documentation. Prior experience in adult medicine is preferred.

Qualifications

• MSN NP/PA from an accredited program.
• Board Certification from an accredited board.
• Active, unrestricted Florida NP or PA license.
• Two or more years of adult medicine experience as an NP or PA.
• BLS certification.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal relationships and communication with colleagues and patients.
• Willingness and ability to learn/adapt to practice in a value-based care setting.
• DEA Certification or able to obtain, ACLS, and Spanish fluency are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Treat adults with illnesses, acute and chronic health problems per standards of care.
• Collect, record, and maintain patient information adhering to HIPAA regulations.
• Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination, and other care.
• Examine patients or order and interpret diagnostic tests to aid diagnosis.
• Advise patients on diet, activity, hygiene, and disease prevention.
• Explain procedures and test results to patients.
• Monitor patient progress and reevaluate treatments as needed.
• Direct and coordinate activities of nurses and other staff.
• Perform in-clinic procedures to improve function of body parts.
• Conduct research to study anatomy and develop/test treatments.
• Spend 100% of time clinically focused on direct patient care.
