Job summary

KCA Neurology is seeking a Neurology Nurse Practitioner to join a dedicated, patient-focused team in a warm, supportive office environment. You will work with physicians and specialists with a high degree of clinical autonomy to manage a broad range of neurological conditions.

You will conduct comprehensive examinations, develop management plans, order and interpret tests, and prescribe therapies in alignment with clinic protocols while collaborating with the neurology team to ensure continuity

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program (AANP or ANCC certified).
Current and unrestricted state APRN/NP license.
2+ years of clinical neurology experience.
Strong clinical acumen with ability to work independently and with a team.

Responsibilities

Conduct neurological examinations and evaluate patients with acute and chronic neurological disorders.
Develop and implement patient management plans and document progress notes.
Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to inform care.
Prescribe therapies or medications following clinic protocols and physician collaboration.
Collaborate with neurology team to optimize patient care.
Advise patients and families on health promotion and prevention.
