Saronic Technologies seeks a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to verify that autonomous surface vessels meet design specs and regulatory requirements. This role supports engineering and manufacturing teams, ensuring products pass stringent quality checks before client delivery.

The position requires a keen eye for detail, experience with inspection tools, and a proactive approach to non-conformities and documentation. Interaction with cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in quality inspection, preferably in aerospace/defense/maritime industries.
• Strong understanding of quality control principles, techniques, and tools.
• Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Knowledge of DoD quality requirements and relevant standards.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect components, assemblies, and finished vessels to ensure design specs and standards.
• Maintain accurate records of inspection results, non-conformities, and corrective actions.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and DoD compliance.
• Identify defects, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QC procedures and best practices.
• Collaborate with engineers, production teams, and suppliers on quality issues.
