Job summary

Kellanova’s Rome, GA bakery is seeking an Autonomous Reliability Coordinator to lead Autonomous Maintenance initiatives, train operators, and boost equipment uptime in a 24/7 production setting.

This onsite, hourly role offers Monday–Friday 1:00 PM–9:00 PM and a starting wage of $28.96 per hour. You will collaborate with operators, maintenance, and plant leadership to drive reliability and lean improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience operating, troubleshooting, or supporting equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with continuous improvement, TPM, Autonomous Maintenance, Lean, or operational excellence initiatives.
• Experience using problem-solving tools such as 5 Why, Fishbone diagrams, or root-cause analysis.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other MS Office apps.
• Knowledge of manufacturing safety practices including lockout/tagout and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support Autonomous Maintenance initiatives by training operators on inspections, cleaning, lubrication, basic care, and early abnormality identification.
• Develop training materials, standard work, and provide hands-on coaching to build operator capability.
• Monitor performance metrics, identify opportunities to reduce losses, and improve uptime and equipment effectiveness.
• Apply Lean principles and structured problem-solving to identify root causes and prevent recurrence of issues.
• Maintain documentation and reporting tools to support AM activities and continuous improvement.
