As the Autonomous Maintenance (AM) Lead, you will play a pivotal role in steering our AM journey, taking ownership of its direction and success. You will focus on developing and implementing standardized processes that support the seamless integration of new equipment, ensuring that our operations remain at the forefront of innovation and efficiency. The position is located in Zanesville, Ohio, involving communication and coordination with all Kellanova Frozen food plants, with travel to other manufacturing facilities. Travel will constitute about 50% of your time and may require working beyond normal hours, including shifts, weekends, and holidays.

In Zanesville, you will work closely with Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations teams to enhance equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). As a champion of plant-wide AM culture, you will ensure alignment with Kellanova Work Systems (KWS), driving consistency and excellence. You will also coach and mentor frontline leaders and operators, empowering them to own AM activities and drive improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership: Serve on the North American KWS AM Steering Committee, lead category COE meetings, mentor plant AM leads, and collaborate with category leaders to improve performance and reduce losses.
  • Alignment: Collaborate with the KWS Frozen Category Director and NA AM COE leaders, perform site visits, and ensure execution aligns with global standards and phased implementation plans.
  • Continuous Improvement: Standardize AM implementation, develop system and process capabilities, and ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree or High School diploma/GED with 5+ years of autonomous maintenance experience
  • Strong supervisory/managerial experience
  • Broad knowledge of Autonomous Maintenance across multiple plants
  • Experience with SMED, 5S, Work Process Improvement, Problem Solving, FMEA, KSUM Support
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Collaborative work style, cross-functional teamwork
Compensation

Annual salary ranges from $109,100 to $150,040, based on experience and skill, with discretionary bonuses based on performance.
