Job summary

Ginkgo Bioworks in Boston is seeking talented Software Engineers to join the Autonomous Lab software organization. Successful candidates will work on Catalyst, a platform driving Ginkgo's Autonomous Lab product, contributing to multiple teams dedicated to innovation in biology and AI.

The role requires on-site work three days a week, with opportunities for internal relocation assistance. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Computer Science and be proficient in Python.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
• Some professional software development experience in a production environment.
• Proficiency in Python with familiarity in TypeScript & React as a plus.

Responsibilities

• Scope and deliver well-defined features and components end-to-end.
• Write maintainable code and apply coding principles with guidance.
• Participate in technical design discussions and code reviews.
